The Human Resources department at The University of New Mexico has announced new mandatory training for all employees.

The two subjects that will be covered are SRS 0116 Basic Annual Safety Training 2016 and EOD 1007 Intersections: Preventing Discrimination and Harassment.

The Intersections module is replacing the Preventing Sexual harassment training that was required in previous years. This new course was created to raise awareness on various topics of discrimination, harassment, and sexual violence.

The training for the course includes animated scenarios, skill practices, UNM policies and resources, and sound and closed caption (CC) capability.

The one-hour training will allow participants the option to exit and return to the module where they left off.

All applicable training plans with the two mandatory training modules are available through Learning Central. All faculty, staff, temporary faculty and staff, on-call staff and student employees (including graduate student employees) are required to complete this training.
