The UNM Office for the Vice President for Research hosts a daylong workshop for faculty and program staff interested in learning about the current landscape for undergraduate research. The workshop, “Facilitating and Expanding Undergraduate Research” is Wednesday, Feb. 6 in the UNM Student Union Building Ballroom A.

Open to open to faculty and program staff, the workshop runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Lunch will be provided. To register, visit Workshop Registration.

The Facilitating and Expanding Undergraduate Research workshop intends to create a shared understanding of UNM’s undergraduate research efforts, identify areas for improving efficiencies to maximize UNM resources and expertise, and to develop a set of shared priorities where UNM should next focus efforts and resources.

Two sessions of particular interest include Undergraduate Research in the Classroom from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. and also a group discussion relating to Efficiencies, Impacts and Priorities from 2 to 2:50 p.m.
