The UNM Parent Association invites parents and students to its annual Parent Day at The Pit, which precedes the UNM vs. UNLV basketball game Saturday Feb. 21. A pre-game reception will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the Student Services and Support Building located at 1155 University Blvd. SE, just north of Wise Pies Arena, aka The Pit. The game begins at 4 p.m.
Pre-game reception tickets are available for $15 or $35 to attend the reception and the game. Student tickets for the game are free if obtained through the Athletics Department. Students may attend the reception at no cost.
The reception will provide lunch and include a raffle. Tickets for the raffle will be available for purchase as well for $5 per ticket or $20 for 5 tickets. The grand prize of the raffle will be a $500 Walmart gift card and more prizes will be given away during the event.
