On Tuesday, Aug. 17, the Applebee's restaurant located outside of Cottonwood Mall on Albuquerque's West Side (Cottonwood and Ellison) will donate 15 percent of each purchase to Garcia's transplant fund. Those people who want to donate to the fund on Tuesday night will need to present the attached flier when they pay for dinner.
For those unable to attend this fundraiser, the Utilities Maintenance Group will be organizing a BBQ for Garcia later this summer. Or if you are interested in directly donating to Garcia's transplant fund, call 277-2464.
