The UNM Staff Council presents a Brown Bag Lecture Series on the last Friday of each month. On Friday, Aug. 29, from noon to 1 p.m. at the Faculty Staff Club, Jenna Crabb, director, UNM Career Services, presents, “Unlocking your Career Success through Motivation.” Space is limited, so RSVP to Mark Reynolds, Reynolds@unm.edu.
Crabb has worked in Student Affairs at UNM for more than 20 years, starting out in the residence halls as a student worker and then moving into a professional position within the division. She earned all her degrees at UNM, including her Ph.D. in Counselor Education with an emphasis in Organizational Learning and Instructional Technology recently.
Crabb said, “Finding your motivation is key to unlocking your success in your current job, your future job – and retirement!”
The workshop explores finding motivational skills, burnout skills and potential for professional development through an interactive cart sorting activity.
The Brown Bag Lecture Series provides a special guest to present an in-depth discussion on a particular topic, have a performance or teach something new. Future topics include wellness, heart health, navigating social media, pet care issues, learning a new dance step and more.
All brown bags will be held at the Faculty Staff Club, 1923 Las Lomas NE. One need not be a club member to attend. Individuals can bring their lunch or purchase lunch at the club.
