Those seeking a change in New Mexico policy regarding social justice, health equity and racial tolerance are invited to engage in reflection and planning with Dr. Camara Phyllis Jones, Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), on Thursday, Oct. 14, from 6 to 8 p.m.
The event, "Steps to Address Institutional Racism," is sponsored by the New Mexico Health Equity Working Group (NMHEWG) and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) Center for Health Policy at the University of New Mexico.
The event will be held at the Rotunda Building on University and Basehart. Refreshments will be provided.
