After a competitive nationwide search, the Division of Student Affairs has announced finalists for the position of Career Services director. The finalists include Autumn Collins. The position was recently vacated by long-time director, Jenna Crabb, who was promoted to the new Executive Director for Student Resources position.
This position will administer all aspects of career services, oversee the clinical supervision of career counselors, and will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing career service programs to prepare students for internship and employment opportunities by developing and collaborating with UNM colleges, community partners and global and national employers and recruiters.
Autumn Collins will participate in a community open forum scheduled below.
Collins holds a master's degree in Counseling and Guidance from New Mexico Highlands University and a master's degree in Secondary Education from Pepperdine University. Collins has completed more than 60 credit hours toward a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology. She currently works as the career counseling manager at UNM.

UPDATE: The open forum scheduled for Monday, July 24 has been cancelled after Patrick Gallegos withdrew his candidacy from the Director of Career Services search. The interview with Autumn Collins will continue as scheduled on July 19.
