The Student Union Building hosts its annual Pumpkin Carving Contest in the SUB Atrium, Monday, Oct. 31 from noon – 2 p.m.

Pumpkins will be judged on most creative, cutest, scariest, and audience favorite. Prizes will be awarded for first place in each of these categories as well as the best department pumpkin.

“We are pleased to hold the annual Pumpkin Carving Contest in the SUB again this year," said Cheryl Wallace, director of the Student Union. "We hope to have a lot of participation and see all the creative ideas. We look forward to seeing UNM students, faculty and staff participate in the competition for the different categories. Always a very fun event to judge”.

Judging begins at 2 p.m. but participants do not have to be present to win. All winners will be notified to receive their prizes.
