The Lobo basketball teams host the Third Annual Diaper Drive, benefitting the UNM Children’s Hospital, exclusively online. The Lobo women’s Diaper Drive began with the game against Fresno State on Jan. 28. Next Wednesday’s Lobo men’s hoops game against San Diego State in Lubbock, Texas will serve as the men’s Diaper Drive game.

In year’s past, Lobo fans could come to the contest and either donate to the Diaper Drive, or donate packages of diapers. This year, due to the COVID-19 crisis, fans can participate in the Diaper Drive exclusively online and donate to UNMH for diaper purchases.

UNM Children’s Hospital cares for the tiniest and sickest patients. Donations to the diaper fund help to provide diapers to children whose families may not be able to afford them. UNM Children’s Hospital is New Mexico’s only dedicated Children’s Hospital. It is also NBew Mexico’s only dedicated 24/7 Children’s Intensive Care Unit, which treats the region’s most critical pediatric cases.

UNM Health is the official healthcare provider for Lobo athletics.
