Attendees are invited to a reception with refreshments after the ceremony in the chapel courtyard.

Paul Blodgett attended UNM on an ROTC scholarship, graduating in 2002 with a degree in history and naval science. The U.S. Navy immediately assigned him to the USS Albuquerque (SSN 706) as a submarine officer. Blodgett went on to earn a master’s degree in applied physics from the Naval Postgraduate School and became the Chief Engineering Officer on another submarine.

After teaching physics at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Blodgett transitioned to a civilian career in quantitative finance. He oversees operations around the globe for a private investment firm in Princeton, New Jersey, with a focus on compliance and risk management. Blodgett also stays active in his community, including serving as a member of the Board of Trustees for The University of New Mexico Foundation.
