The Financial Wellness Program will be addressing the topic “Life Insurance – What Kind and How Much for Financial Security?” at two upcoming workshops.
The first session will take place on Thursday, Nov. 16 from 12 to 1 p.m. at the North Campus in HSLIC Room 428; the second session will be Friday, Nov. 17 from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Main Campus in the Business Center, EOD 1018.
With the guidance of Valic Financial Advisors, Angelo Burns and Karen Schotter, UNM faculty, staff, and retirees can learn about the details of UNM life insurance benefits.
The workshops will assist attendees to better understand term and permanent (cash value) insurance along with helping to calculate the amount of life insurance one should budget for loved ones.
Both sessions are free and open to open to UNM faculty, staff and retirees (not available to student employees).
Lunch is provided to those who RSVP.
Registration and virtual access are available on the Monthly Financial Wellness Seminars webpage.
