The University of New Mexico is in the middle of its 2020 UNM Gives and if you've ever wanted to make a difference in your community, now's the perfect time to do it. All those who make a monetary pledge to the campaign through the end of the campaign on Tuesday, Dec. 1 will be entered into a random drawing for prizes. Several prizes have already been drawn but there are still many left.

Also, in what's become an annual tradition as part of the UNM Gives campaign. President Garnett S. Stokes and new Executive Vice President for the Health Sciences Center Dr. Doug Ziedonis will make a personal pizza delivery to one department with a noticeable level of monetary donations, both on Main Campus and on North Campus at the HSC once state COVID guidelines allow.

So if you're moved to make the world a better place – particularly now, during a global pandemic, and you're interested in helping families in need, now is a great time to get involved. Additional benefits include helping more students should graduate, assisting victims of domestic violence and helping the homeless get food, shelter and support.
