The University of New Mexico's Interdisciplinary Film & Digital Media Program (IFDM) hosts the End-of-Semester Student Showcase on Saturday, May 5 at IFDM's Mesa del Sol facility in south Albuquerque, open to the public from 12-1:30 p.m. The facility is located at the Aperture Center at Mesa del Sol, 5700B University West Blvd., next to Albuquerque Studios.

The showcase features work produced by IFDM students as part of their spring 2012 coursework in a variety of new and emerging technologies such as visual effects, animation, film, game development, interactive and digital design, digital storytelling and storyboarding and new media business projects. IFDM students from every class will be present to discuss their projects and areas of study.

UNM's Interdisciplinary Film and Digital Media Program was established in 2007, in response to the State's Media Industries Strategy Plan (MISP). The program is unique in that students may pursue their interests in digital media in one of four partner colleges/schools at UNM: College of Fine Arts, School of Engineering, College of Arts and Sciences and Anderson School of Management, with six possible degree options.
