UNM on Winter Break Dec. 23 through Jan. 2

Holiday hours in effect for most offices & departments

The University of New Mexico winter break is set for Friday, Dec. 23 through Monday, Jan. 2. Many departments on campus will be closed or have abbreviated hours throughout this time. Check the hours of the office you plan to visit.

Below is a list of hours for some key areas and departments around campus.

The UNM Bookstore is closed Friday, Dec. 23 through Monday, Jan. 2. Regular store hours resume Tuesday, Jan. 3.

The Medical / Legal Bookstore is closed Friday, Dec. 23 through Monday, Jan. 2. Regular store hours resume Tuesday, Jan. 3

The Lobo Den is closed Dec. 23 through Dec. 27. It is open Wednesday, Dec. 28 from 5:30 p.m. until the end of the Fresno State men’s basketball game. It is closed Friday-Saturday, Dec. 29-30, and open Saturday, Dec. 31 from 5:30 p.m. until the end of the San Diego State women’s basketball game. Regular store hours resume, Tuesday, Jan. 3.

Information Technologies will be closed Friday-Saturday Dec. 24-25 & Friday-Saturday Dec. 31-Jan. 1. It is open 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Dec. 23, 26-30 and Monday, Jan. 2. Regular hours resume Tuesday, Jan. 3. For IT related issues, emergencies or outages call (505) 277-5757 and leave a message.

Zimmerman Library is closed Dec. 23 – Jan. 2 and Jan. 7, 8, 14, 15. On Jan. 3 – 6 and Jan. 9-13 it will be open 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Regular hours will resume Tuesday, Jan. 17.

Centennial Science & Engineering Library and Fine Arts and Design Library are closed Dec. 23-Jan. 2. Chat will not be available.

The Health Sciences Library & Informatics Center is closed Dec. 23-Jan. 2. School of Law Library & Information Technology is closed Dec. 23-Jan. 2.

Parking & Transportation Services (PATS) will abbreviate enforcement hours during the 2016 Winter Break. Effective Sunday, Dec. 18 enforcement hours will be from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday-Friday with no Saturday enforcement. This abbreviated schedule will remain in place until the Tuesday, Jan. 17 when the spring semester begins. There will be no enforcement from Friday, Dec.23 through Monday, Jan. 2 due to University closure.
