Parking & Transportation Services (PATS) will enforce abbreviated hours during the 2016 Winter Break in addition to certain lot closures.
Effective Sunday, Dec. 18, enforcement hours will be from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday-Friday with no Saturday enforcement. This abbreviated schedule will remain in place until the Tuesday, Jan. 17 when the spring semester begins.
There will be no enforcement from Friday, Dec. 23 through Monday, Jan. 2 due to University closure.
PATS is also notifying customers of the temporary closure of South Lot from Dec. 17 through Jan. 16 for the 2016 Winter Break. During this time, South Lot permits will only be honored in Q Lot.
Consequently, South Lot shuttle service has been suspended effective Monday, Dec.19 through Friday, Jan.13.
Lobo Village and the Student Support and Services Center (SSSC) will be combined into a timed, fixed route from Jan. 2 through 13.
Shuttles will stop at Yale Mall and Research/SSSC every 20 minutes and will stop at Lobo Village every 40 minutes. Shuttle service for these combined routes will operate from 6:30 a.m. through 7 p.m., Monday through Friday.
There will be no shuttle service for these stops from Friday, Dec. 23 through Monday, Jan. 2 also due to University closure.
Regular shuttle service for all routes will resume at 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan.17.

Road repairs affecting pay station parking
The UNM Physical Plant Department (PPD) has scheduled road repairs on Buena Vista—between Las Lomas and Roma—starting Tuesday, Jan.3 through Friday, Jan. 6.
The roadwork will require the temporary closure of all pay station parking spaces located on Buena Vista. Construction workers will be on site to direct traffic and ensure access to the West Roma C Lot located between Dane Smith Hall and Scholes Hall.
