The UNM Prevention Research Center and the Rio Grande Institute sponsor a special research presentation of the "UNM Preventive Medicine Residency Program," Tuesday, Aug. 30 from noon to 1 p.m. at the Research Incubator Building (RIB) Commons located on north Campus, 2703 Frontier NE.

Denece Kesler, professor, Department of Internal Medicine and Program Director, UNM Preventive Medicine Residency Program will present.

The UNM Public Health and General Preventive Medicine Residency Program is a newly ACGME-accredited physician training program. Physician residents are trained to practice preventive medicine and are eligible to become board certified in preventive medicine upon completion of the program.
