Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Associate Director of the Center for High Technology Materials Sanjay Krishna has collaborated with colleagues from the University of California Berkeley, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, National Tsing Hua University in Hsinchu, Taiwan, and Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology at Ulsan Metropolitan City, South Korea on a paper published in the current edition of the journal "Nature."
The paper, titled "Ultrathin Compound Semiconductor on Insulator Layers for High-Performance Nanoscale Transistors," can be read at Nature. It explores a method of integrating compound semiconductors, such as InAs, on silicon and silicon dioxide substrates for use in high performance nanoscale transistors.
