The UNM School of Architecture + Planning hosts an open house on Friday, Oct. 21 from 3 – 7 p.m. in George Pearl Hall to showcase student and faculty works. The event is open to all.

The Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Community & Regional Planning departments will exhibit student work and faculty research on the “Crit Bridge" in George Pearl Hall. The open house is an opportunity to meet the faculty and chairs, and learn more about the programs.

As part of the open house, SA+P Student Ambassadors will conduct tours of George Pearl Hall to all visitors that will include “studio stops” at select students’ desks. There will be an exhibit in the Rainosek Gallery with refreshments, the Fabrication "Fab" Lab will be open for tours and demonstrations, and the 3-D print lab will have print job demonstrations.

The SA+P Open House also coincides with the “Reimagine Harvard” pop-up event that our Landscape Architecture students and faculty are participating in. Visitors are encouraged to stroll over and see that exhibit.

And if that wasn't enough, SA+P will host a guest lecture featuring architect Marlon Blackwell at 5:30 p.m. in the Garcia Auditorium by architect Marlon Blackwell. A reception in the Rainosek Gallery will follow.
