The Phi Kappa Phi UNM Chapter recently participated in a "highway clean-up" in collaboration with the UNM Exercise Science Club.

The group says their goals are to make an impact on the cleanliness of the community, educate others about the consequences of littering, while preventing repercussions of Anthropocene (Planet Earth longevity).

"This event was a great success with the participants learning about anthropocene and related environmental issues and even discovering some coyote bones along the way," said Hongyoung Kim, Phi Kappa Phi UNM Chapter student vice president.

The students went out Sunday, April 17 along Tramway.
