The UNM Facilities Management Utilities Division will be removing large equipment from the Lomas Chiller Plant, located on Las Lomas Road across from the Anderson School of Management on Saturday, Sept. 11.

The project requires a crane to be placed in the north lane of Las Lomas, which will cause temporary vehicle and pedestrian traffic disruptions from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the crane scheduled to be removed by 1 p.m.

Drivers and pedestrians in the area should be aware of intermittent lane and sidewalk closures and adhere to posted signage and traffic control personnel.

This project is part of planned maintenance and upgrades to improve efficiency and operations of campus utility systems. If individuals have any concerns or questions, contact Utility Project Manager Craig Barnard at 505-277-1131.
