The UNM Alumni Association and UNM Young Alumni Chapter celebrates the Fall Class of 2017 by inviting graduates to party with their pack at the New Grad Bash on Thursday, Dec. 14 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Hodgin Hall Alumni Center.
Graduates are invited to celebrate their accomplishments as they are inducted into the UNM alumni family. Attendees are encouraged to bring other soon-to-be alums for drinks, appetizers, provide by Conchita’s Cafe, and music. Wine and beer will be served only to those 21 and older; IDs will be checked.
The Young Alumni Chapter will be giving away door prizes that include a drawing for a UNM diploma frame and a $250 certificate toward a Jostens official UNM graduation ring. Each new grad attending will receive a special gift from the Young Alumni Chapter.
UNM graduates automatically become UNM Alumni Association members when they graduate. There aren’t annual dues or fees associated with membership, it’s free. The New Grad Bash is the first of many benefits and events UNM alumni receive.
The New Grad Bash takes place at Hodgin Hall Alumni Center, located 1889 Central Ave. NE in Albuquerque—look for The U. Parking is available in the Hodgin Hall Alumni Center visitor lot, east of the building; or in B Lot on the northwest corner of Central Ave. and University Blvd.
