The final fall 2010 International Luncheon is set for Tuesday, Nov. 9, from noon-1:30 p.m. in Scholes Hall, Roberts Room.

Binational filmmaker, teacher and conservationist Elke Duerr is the speaker. Duerr is the founder of "Wild Wolf Film-Advancing the coexistence of wilderness and civilization" and is currently working on a documentary about the reintroduction of the Mexican Gray Wolf in Arizona, New Mexico and Mexico.

Duerr gives outreach talks in schools, colleges, universities and the larger community nationally and internationally and collaborates with wolf experts and conservationists in Europe and the US. She just returned from a 2-week wolf outreach trip to New York City and state and is a contributor to the German Wolf Magazine "Rudelnachrichten".
