The Mind Research Network hosted the Domenici Neuroscience Symposium in early May in Washington D.C. The symposium titled "Neuroscience for National Security" featured talks on a number of provocative topics including cyberthreats, sleep deprivation, chronic stress, traumatic brain injury and PTSD.

The Mind Research Network, located on the University of New Mexico campus in Albuquerque, is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and other brain disorders. MRN is an interdisciplinary association of scientists who collaborate with researchers at universities, national laboratories and research centers around the world. The organization is focused on imaging and genetics technology and its emergence as an integral element of neuroscience investigation.
