
New Mexico in Focus airs Friday, April 12 at 7 p.m. on Channel 5.1 and Saturday, April 13 at 5 p.m. on Channel 9.1.
Albuquerque Public Schools may soon chart its own course for teacher evaluations. The move would fly in the face of the state Public Education Department, and comes amid a nationwide debate on how best to measure the effectiveness of educators.
The panel also explores the coming battles over gun rights legislation and immigration policies at the national level, plus, the founder of the wildly popular online venture "Inhabitants of Burque," Leo York is in studio.
