New Mexico in Focus takes a look ahead this week to the 2012 legislative session, which begins Tuesday, Jan. 17. Gov. Susana Martinez sits down with correspondent Gwyneth Doland to talk about her new approach to getting what she wants from New Mexico lawmakers.
The Line will take a look at the upcoming lawmaking calendar. With the balance of power potentially set to shift dramatically in the House, will representatives be pushing to prove their mettle to voters in their new districts? Also, Stephen Spitz of KUNM radio joins the regular panelists to explore the session and whether lawmakers should be paid for their efforts.
