Earth Day is Monday, April 22, and New Mexico in Focus turns to environmental issues for this week's episode.
New Mexico in Focus airs Friday, April 12 at 7 p.m. on Channel 5.1 and Saturday, April 14 at 5 p.m. on Channel 9.1.
Architect Edward Mazria found his passion first in passive solar design and now through his non-profit, non-partisan venture Architecture 2030. He has successfully involved much of the building sector in the United States in his effort to lessen the built environment's impact on climate change.
The Line opinion panel has a different look this week, as journalists, ranchers and environmentalists converge to talk about how attitudes toward the environment have changed in New Mexico, and what's ahead for the way New Mexicans interact with the environment and the implications of the deepening drought.
