After months of construction and anticipation, UNM Food is announcing the names and concepts of the campus taproom and a new food offering—opening for business at the end of September.
“We are excited to debut two new food and beverage concepts to offer to our campus community,” said Amanda Gerard, operations manager, UNM Food. “These locations will add variety, local products, and gathering spaces that enhance the dining experiences of our guests.”
draft & table, located at the southeast end of the Student Union Building (SUB) main level, will be a new offering to campus and will serve local craft beer, wine and a selection of interesting and unique non-alcoholic beverages.
The draft & table food menu is also sure to delight with options ranging from small bites to heartier plates—all with an emphasis on quality ingredients and curated flavors. UNM Food has worked with great culinary passion to craft perfect food and drink pairings. Details on hours of operation, beer on tap and menu offerings will be released shortly before the end of September opening.
UNM’s new pizza concept, π [Pi] will bring new life to the previous Wise Pies location in the SUB. π is where Lobos can find pizza, pasta and salads created to cater to a variety of tastes and dietary preferences.
The menu will offer something for everyone, whether they’re looking to treat themselves to an artisanal meal to enjoy with others or to grab something simple and quick on-the-go. More information on the colorful and creative menu will be available later this month.
