The University of New Mexico’s Student Union Building will not serve as a voting location this upcoming 2020 General Election.

Lobos looking to cast their vote on election day can find 70 voting convenience centers open Tuesday, Nov. 3 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters can also request an absentee ballot; mailed absentee applications must be received by the clerk's office by Tuesday, Oct. 20.

"Being in the heart of campus makes us a convenient location to offer this service to our students, faculty and staff," SUB Director Cheryl Wallace said. "We were very disappointed the Student Union will not be a voting location this election year, but will work with the county to provide voting in future elections."

The SUB is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m with limited access to students, facility, staff and vendors.
