The University Club has announced the reopening date for fall 2021. Beginning Monday, Aug. 23, the club will be open for food service and room/venue reservations.
The University Club offers a relaxing space for faculty and staff to dine, meet, and socialize. Memberships are $7 per month via payroll deduction and come with great amenities such as discounts on food and beverages, complimentary conference room reservations, and discounted rental fees for private events.
In 1988, the old University Club closed. For 17 years, the University had no place on campus designed to bring together all faculty and staff: active, part-time, and retired/emeriti. The Club brings the faculty and staff together in a unique, neutral setting and enables faculty and staff to get to know one another away from one's own department, allowing relationships to be strengthened and common goals forged.
The University Club encourages social wellness across campus by providing a comfortable setting to exchange ideas, collaborate and enhance the campus community by delivering outstanding products, services and experiences to members and guests in a relaxing and inviting atmosphere.
The University Club is also a great place to host departmental receptions, meetings, and personal milestone celebrations including receptions, lectures, weddings, showers and more.
