The University Libraries (UL) employs over 100 students within an academic school year who help make daily operations for each library possible. The University Libraries is excited to announce the 2022 recipients of the Friday Hulsman Outstanding Student Employee Award and celebrate the graduating student employees.
Students play an integral piece in achieving the UL mission of supporting our community by providing expertise, instruction, services, spaces, and collections that advance scholarship, teaching, and intellectual discovery
The recipients and the graduating student employees will be celebrated at a ceremony where the dean will present the awards and certificates.

The Friday Hulsman Outstanding Student Employee award was established in the 2017/2018 academic year with funding from Jim and Mary Lois Friday Hulsman to advance College of University Libraries and Learning Sciences efforts in the area of student engagement. Winners of the award will receive a monetary award. A selection committee composed of College faculty and staff has chosen ten winners based upon outstanding performance, initiative, reliability, quality of work, attitude, and overall contribution to the College and its users.
