The Global Education Office and the Office of the Vice President for Research are accepting nominations for the Globally-Engaged Research Awards to highlight the dynamic international research conducted by UNM faculty and students.
For the purposes of this award, “international research” comprises research (inclusive of scholarship and creative works) conducted or with significant, direct impacts outside of the U.S. and its territories and/or involving strong international research partnerships.
Three awards will be given:
- Faculty award ($5,000)
- Graduate student award ($1,500)
- Deborah Rifenbary Memorial Undergraduate Student Award ($1,000).
Nominations for the 2024 awards must be submitted via InfoReady by Thursday, Feb. 29. Eligibility is limited to main and branch campuses.
