To kick off each semester, The University of New Mexico hosts two Welcome Back Days to broaden the scope of any new and returning students’ campus experiences. The UNM Student Activities Center is hosting this Spring’s Welcome Back Days from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Student Union Building (SUB) Atrium.
The first Welcome Back Day, Jan. 17, 2024, will center around UNM departments and Greek organizations. Head to the SUB Atrium to soak in some information from Fraternities, Sororities, and departments about their services, programs, and all the ways they can help make your experience at UNM better. Interested in Greek life? Some Greek organizations are looking for new members and will be available to answer questions about how to join a fraternity or sorority.
The second Welcome Back Day, Jan. 31, will highlight the various student organizations on campus. UNM has over 450 chartered student organizations. Keep an eye out for any groups that pique your interest. Groups will be on hand to provide information about how to join and get involved. Student organizations are a great way to improve your UNM experience, build leadership skills, and build your resume, all while having fun.
